Emma Chaves is a Paid Media Strategist for Sosemo, an award-winning strategic media planning, buying and campaign management agency that specializes in marketing brands across the digital landscape. Emma focuses on search engine analytics, reporting, campaign management and performance optimization while doing her best to contribute to the Sosemo team’s dynamic personality.
Emma’s career in advertising began as a Wilhelmina Sports & Fitness Model looking to increase online exposure. She is proud to have transitioned from self-marketing to an official Sosemo agency strategic associate. She traces her interests in consumer behavior, motivation, group mentality, epistemology and logic back to her studies at Columbia University, and a combination of The Sixth Sense and The Lion King.
Aside from reading into data, writing ad copy and calculating finer bid adjustments, Emma likes to organize group activities through Google forms, strike up banter in elevators, negotiate at coffee shops, and architect the most realistic roadmap for befriending her celebrity neighbor, Hasan Minhaj.
Her favorite shows stopped producing content in the early 2010’s (can you guess?), and she identifies as a Neutralist when it comes to the South Park vs. Family Guy and East Coast vs. West Coast conflicts. That being said, she is firmly Team Nikola Tesla. She also frequents fitness studios and parks, uses her B.A. in Psychology to conduct controlled deep dives within Wikipedia and, on occasion, entertains a dramatic hair dye. Lastly, she writes long sentences.
