Roy Yoo is a Paid Media Director at Sosemo, an award-winning strategic media planning, buying and campaign management agency that specializes in marketing brands across the digital landscape. Roy’s focus is developing analytical paid media strategies for all clients to meet a wide range of business goals from brand awareness to direct response.
Roy’s career started at Havas Media in Search Engine Marketing on a number of high-profile accounts including Volvo and Dannon. With the rise in its popularity, Roy expanded his expertise into Paid Social Media and from there, moved to an independent agency, Crossmedia, to lead accounts like U.S. Bank and NYU Langone. Appreciating the values and excitement of independent agencies, Roy chose to further his career by joining Sosemo.
In his spare time, Roy enjoys cooking, competing in triathlons, and visiting national parks. He hopes to one day visit all sixty-one U.S. national parks and maybe even thru-hike the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail. He graduated from Boston College with a BA in Economics and History and a minor in Childhood Development.
